Media Technology Sales Executive

We are an innovative software company selling a unique disruptive technology within the Media & Entertainment industry. Our clients include major broadcasters, sports teams, post-production companies, and international solutions integrators. We’ve supported some of the largest media events over the past year and we’re looking for a seasoned sales executive to contribute to our growth strategy and sales. The position requires thorough knowledge of the corporate enterprise sales process, specifically for digital media technology solutions.

Reporting to the VP of National Sales, primary responsibilities involve end-to-end sales management, including: sales forecasting, account planning and acquisition, development of proposals, and contract negotiations with clients.

Major Responsibilities

  • Achieve or surpass sales targets by selling to mid to senior level executives in targeted accounts
  • Identify and qualify prospects and update corporate CRM database
  • Understand client needs and effectively communicate how our solution applies
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge
  • Successfully apply our corporate sales methods and processes
  • Work with cross-functional teams to secure appropriate resources to close deals and develop deployment plans
  • Work with our company team and partners to ensure superior customer satisfaction


  • Minimum of 5 years executive sales experience in the Media and Entertainment industry
  • Proven track record of successful enterprise sales
  • Demonstrable understanding of digital video technologies
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Sales Engineer

The primary technical resource for the direct and channel sales force. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and advocate for our solution. The Sales Engineer must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. Must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle, including post deployment support and training.


  • Respond to functional and technical elements of proposals and RFPs
  • Convey customer requirements to TechOps team
  • Responsible for development and delivery of product technical training and demonstrations
  • Responsible for conducting acceptance tests based on customer’s requirements


  • Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in software sales and knowledge of technology
  • Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base
  • Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, proposals, and when submitting reports
  • Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches

Deployment Engineer

This position is responsible for implementing the configuration and deployment of the Brevity solutions. This role is a key technical delivery position working with both the internal TechOps teams as well as key contacts within the client’s development organization. This position performs QA and test functions within the organization to support new and existing client executions. This position will take a key role in rolling out new product features on client executions. This individual will also be tasked with determining simpler more automated ways of deploying and delivering our solution to increase ease of configuration and improve productivity.


  • Become a technical subject matter expert for all client sites
  • Responsible for setting up and creating client configurations, and managing the administration of deployments
  • Performing hands-on technical troubleshooting on a daily basis for configuration set up on both internal/external deployments
  • Develop test case scenarios for all phases of deployments and internal product releases
  • Providing daily production assistance and QA support to site developers
  • Assist with customer deployments by coordinating across Sales and Technical Operations
  • Support the rollout of all new features and technology on client sites within the production environment.


  • Minimum 2 years experience in Linux configuration and support or working in Deployment, QA or Testing department.
  • Experience in network administration and troubleshooting
  • Must be able to be flexible with working hours to support international customers
